So here are just a couple... The computer is being extremely slow, so sorry there aren't a lot but I will make a slide show.

Can I just say that we have the best grandparents EVER! They are the best, and I am so thankful they come out to support us in all that we do!



OK so this computer is officially retarded, I will keep at it, but in the mean time here you go!
The past day,

• Tanner had a swimming party with a bunch of his boys. About 10 boys came, and they had a lot of fun.
• Whitty had friends up to swim right after him. It was her, and about 5 girls. Amazing the difference in sounds you hear from boys to girls... :)
• Courtney made a lemonade stand. They sold a glass of lemonade for .25$ then change it to .50$.
• Jamie is PREGNANT! At least that is what she told Joe in her half asleep state. Yep she is pregnant and was 4 1/2 centimeters dilated. When Joe asked what the sex of the baby was, she said, "I'm not going to tell you!" Joe-"Well that means it's a boy then!" Congratulations, I have my first niece or nephew! :)
• I'm official! Partied all night, slept until 2 pm the next day, and am off to a party tonight. I won a hot dog cooker at the all night grad thing... too bad I forgot it at the party.
• Mom's phone went off during my graduation... it happens to the best of us!
• DAVID ARCHULETA was at MY GRADUATION! That's right, and of course mom got a picture of him! If the president would have been there, she would have gotten a picture of him too!
  

Graduation!

So Yesterday, May 30, I officially graduated from Murray High (even though dad thought for sure I wouldn't!). I just got home from the all night Senior Party, yes it is 5 am right now... It was way fun and way crazy. Thanks so much for supporting me through my life and always being there for me. I'm done... crazy! Pictures are coming... the camera has decided to be stupid...

I promise I will get better at this again...
I went into Court's room at 9 am this morning. She was still in bed. "Shorty why aren't you at school?" "Why, what time is it?" "UHH, 9!" She didn't believe me, and had to check every clock in the house to make sure I wasn't pulling her leg. She was just a little late...

• Mom taught Court's class how to make plates with tissue paper mod-podged on at 11. THEN...
• Dad taught Shortie's class about hygiene at 2. I think the school should pay mom and dad for all they do... :)
• Whitney has been dissecting a shark in her Biology class... stay tuned for pic's (her camera has a stupid memory card, and wont fit in our card reader...). She was also the one who had to cut it open, and pull things out... the guy in her group said he wasn't touching it at all! (It reminded me when I had to cut open a baby pig, because a certain NICK FALK, wouldn't!)
• Tanner had some "great" experiences with his teachers... he's getting ready for summer, let's just leave it at that! :)
• I went to the Temple today with my friends... Mom and Dad can't get mad I sluffed school, I was at the Temple! Good excuse, too bad I didn't think of it earlier...

long weekend...

Sorry I haven't blogged in a while, I could lie and say I have been busy with school, but that's a BIG lie, that no one would believe... I'll try to think of a better lie... :) In the meantime:

• Whitters saw Iron Man, and LOVED it!
• Tanner's phone rang... he came running in the kitchen looking for it, but was too late, it stopped. He dialed his own number and continued to look. "Oh, crap!" He kept running forward because his phone ringer kept moving forward as well. Umm, I guess that's what happens when your phone is in your POCKET! :)
• Dad got a call from our Wal-Mart Guru, Jere. A WII Fit got shipped in, and now the Cheney household is another number in the new "technologically fit" generation.
• Whit was sitting on the couch, when the phone began to ring. She jumped up, but didn't quite make it all the way up... She fell back on the couch, and then to the ground... Way to go Whit!
• Mom has been working on scrapbook stuff... I fell asleep in the basement and woke up @ 3:00 am to Mom doing some sort of scrapbook thing...
• We got new dish boxes... FINALLY! Now our channels actually work, you can see the channel!
• The Scouts got screwed over by the Stake... long story short the Cheney's (Joe, Jamie, Dad, Tanner, Whit and myself) got to pick up all the Flags. When we returned home, Joe and I had to go to the bathroom real bad. As we chased each other up the stairs and into the house, Joe whipped me to the side, so he would get to the bathroom first... I wasn't gonna have any of that! I side checked him into the wall, and made it to the bathroom! Only bad news was that Joe ran into a bunch of Mom's vases... her big, fancy and expensive ones. I hid in the bathroom for as long as I could, scared that when I came out, Mom would kill me. However, only one little vase was broken (a little one Dad gave me for Mother's Day...). Her huge vase was turned over on the ground, but not broken, a Tender Mercy is all I have to say!
• I gave a talk and said "crap" & "turd" over the pulpit... oops, apparently that isn't recommended. But don't worry I got a bunch of crap for it...

Sorry it is so long, sad thing is there is so much more I could write... Anyway I love you guys so much, and I promise to be better!

Little Miss Secretary

SHORTIE WON SECRETARY!

That's right, little miss C-bug is the new Canyon View Elementary Secretary for the upcoming school year. Congrats girlie, we love you and are so happy for you!

Tonight at 7 (10 am in Tokyo), an American Idol will be named... exciting! Yesterday was the last time to vote for the David's. Whit, Shorter and I were all a little excited. We spent 3 hours and 30 minutes running 7 phones, (yep that's right, mine, Whit's Court's, Dad's, Mom's, and the 2 home phones). We racked up a total of 802 votes, for our boy Archuleta!

• Dad got a new computer for the home. It is really nice, and really big!
• Mom is doing her camp kick off right now. To get all the girls in the mood, she has fold-down tables laying on the floor, surrounded with little pillows. Food? Well she went to the local Japanese market and purchased an assortment of drinks (much like the ones in Shauntel's blog), fried peas, and HUGE tray of sushi from Costco.
• Murray's yearbooks finally came! They are not great, but they work...
• Whittie has been working on making up her tardies in ARK. And for extra credit, she scraped gum off the bottom of desks. Fun...

Hot HOt HOT!

Today it was a mere 95+ degrees outside. HOT. So when I got home from school I was expecting it to be cool inside right? Oh no it was hotter inside our house, then out!

Anyway today...

• Whitty found out Taylor Studios, where they dance, is closing. Needless to say she is very happy she did dance company @ Brighton.


• When Shortie heard Taylors was closing, she got a huge grin on her face, and eyes so wide that I didn't think possible... "Really!?" she asked... hmm I'm getting mixed feelings here... :)


• Tan-Man has had the joy of taking the lovely CRT tests.


• Mom drove to Granna and Grandpas house. I guess when you don't pay your bills for 3 months, they tend to turn off your power, water, lights, phone, and just about everything else you can think of. Mom got it all straightened out though. "When I'm older, be nice to me" she said. We'll love you mom, even if Shauntel called dibs on not housing you (dang it! She beat us all to it!). :)


• In Whit's biology class, a boy asked the teacher "Where do liars go?" The teacher responded to Hell. Boy- "Nope they go to Law School." So that's why Jess is @ Law school!


• Shortie is working on her skit for tomorrows elections. We'll let you know how it turns out!
• I was trying to be the good sister, and help her with ideas. One of them was that Courtney makes the winning basket which makes the Jazz the NBA Champions. Well as I was mimicking my good friends Booner and Bollerjack, Dad came racing into the kitchen. "What's wrong!? What happened!?" He looked like someone had been shot or something... Sorry dad, I guess I'm really not meant to be an announcer.


• It was my all time last Monday of high school, EVER! Crazy, scary, exciting and joyous all @ the same time!

The beauty of this blog...

So the beauty of this blog is that we exploit all the "happenings" in each others lives. We make fun of each other, and take a laugh at each others expense. Well here's another laugh for you, at MY expense (not that you guys didn't get that already...).

So I'm sure you all remember that night we stayed up to the wee hours of the morning, talking about who knows what (which now the boys Whit & I went on dates with also know... thanks Whit) including funny stories that had happened while we were younger, and even now. In the midst of these stories, we talked about yes, how I have an innumerable number of instances in which I peed my pants.

Well it was Saturday, around 7 pm. I told Whitney I had to go to the bathroom, and got up to leave. Well little miss sunshine decided she had to go right after I got up, and ran to the bathroom. We were fighting each other, and LAUGHING (not such a good thing to do when you have to go real bad), and I told Whitney, I was going to pee my pants. She didn't listen to me, and let me tell you folks, I peed my pants.

Now I need a laugh so here's what else has happened:

• Joe and his buddies had a swim party Saturday night. I am sad to say that yes, speedos were worn.


• Tanner was right in the middle of Joe and his buddies in a basketball swim game. As soon as T would get the basketball though, all the girls would "swarm" him. I think that's why he liked it so much...


• Mom doesn't want to get rid of her "flock"... needless to say they are still flying in our front yard.


• Steph, Whit, Court and myself went to the movie What Happens in Vegas. Really it was one of the more funny movies I have seen, but we were a little late. Remember that Friends episode when they go to the movie theatre and have to sit on the front row, and kink their necks way far back to see the screen... Yep it was just like that!

"Oh the places you'll go!"

"Oh the places you'll, all the things you will see..." (our favorite, Dr. Seuss). Our red-headed brother and his amazing wife are off to lands "far far away" (Star Wars). They just recently left the house and are off to the airport to wait and board a 14, count it, 14 hour flight.
As the car drove out of the driveway, the tears, unable to be restrained, inexplicably came. We watched the car drive down the hill, then sat for a good 15 minutes after, watching the shadow of the car on the road.
You can bet all Cheney children's eyes will be to the sky this morning, watching for our family who is off to the Land of the Rising Sun. Although we may all walk around today like we are all in deep depressed commas, it is just that there is a part of us missing.

Cinco de Mayo

Monday, Monday, Monday! Not so exciting though...

• Because Dad's Cinco de Mayo cook was fired, his office ordered in Morelias. Dad however went to Apollo Burger with Gram, Pop and of course Joe.
• Tanner and Joe went swimming in the pool today. It is at 85 degrees already.
• The girls went shopping for huge hats (for the Westminster tea thing...). Shortie and Mom found hats at Burlington Coat Factory, and DSW.

Game # 6... GO JAZZ!

So today (and yesterday...) in the Cheney home...

• Steph is official! She graduated, finally! Congrats girl! No more school EVER for you!
• Jp cheered so loud for Steph when they announced her name, and he just kept going! It was so funny, and Steph started to turn red on the stage! :)
• Whitney and Court have another dance competition today and tomorrow. This is their last competition. Good luck girls!
• Family history is DONE! Yeah! Needless to say, things have been much less crazy around here!
• Jamie is switching back to Fashion Place. She's excited, and so are we, she'll be a lot closer!
• I debated with this kid all class period as to why Matt Harpering is a good player, and a key player to the Jazz. (I think I scared him, so he just started to agree with me... sorry, you can't mess with my boys!)
