FHE

So when you have a big family, you have Family Home Evening whenever you are all together, which happened to be Tuesday this week. Courtie got everything ready for it, and it was about prayer. She made us all prayer rocks (look at the previous post), and I thought it was so thoughtful of her. I am so thankful for our family, and the love and support we give each other.

Hey... look who it is! :)

Again, I have to brag about my little sister... I walked into the den ready to do my Quantitative Methods homework, when I saw Shorties little craft project.

They're prayer rocks, and she had printed out a little poem about remembering to say your prayers at night (I tried to get a quick picture before Courtie came back, but she was to quick, so I snagged one of her too!).

  • Mom and Dad got home from Sacramento last night where they saw their good OLD friend Neil (Diamond that is!). Dad was so excited to get there, that they arrived 2+ hours early, only too bad the doors didn't open for another hour. Dad made mom sit in the car for that hour! Being incredibly early has its upsides too... Dad got to park in the VIP parking! :)
  • Whitty has been getting ready for her dance at the Shakespearean Festival. She is doing a dance resembling that of the Witch's in Macbeth, and it looks pretty cool.
  • T has been doing school and lady stuff (by 'lady' I mean every time I pick him up after school, he is talking to LOTS of girls... good work T!). :) He also just had a fondue party down the street.
  • Shortie (besides her prayer rocks) has been on CVTV almost every week. She also just had her 6th grade mall, where she got a cute scarf!
  • I have been doing school (hot boys in my accounting class!), sorority (powder puff, I scored the first touchdown!), and student ward (new calling... communications committee, whatever that means!). Schools awesome and I love it, if you couldn't tell... :)

We love you guys and hopefully the next post will be a little sooner than later... :)

Gas situation

There was a 'GAS' situation in our kitchen, in which an immediate evacuation was called into order! That is why I am here right now... woo hoo... (Dad wont let me say anymore on the situation... we all know what that means). Dad has been bitten by the YouTube phenomenon. That's right you can often see him at the computer with some YouTube video (often the Neil Diamond concert...) on. While we were painfully evacuated from the premises, Whit showed me Dad's latest YouTube video, take a look.
Cool Dad... way cool. :)
Not gonna lie though, I laughed.

Dentist of the Year goes to...

For those of you who don't know, Dad got the Dentist of the Year award from the AGD again. That's right of all the dentists, Dad has gotten it not once, but twice! Congrats Dad, we love you and are so grateful for the example you are to us (and the amazing dentist you are... look at our pearly whites!)! :)

Sorry... forgot

I was so excited about our family picture that I forgot about MIDWAY (one of my most favorite places on EARTH!)! Swiss Days is one of our family traditions that will NEVER die because I simply wont let it (besides myself, you would have to go through Gram, Steph, Whit, Mom, Tanner, Shortie, and probably even Pop, Joe and Dad!). I don't know how or what they make their scones with, but trust me I am pretty sure it is a piece of heaven all fried up! The parade was awesome, and I am pretty sure it is the only parade that still throws out candy, and I mean CANDY! We stayed up 'till Sunday which was way fun! Shortie and T also drove the 4-wheelers for hours and hours in the backyard (you wonder why the grass doesn't stay green!). Basically it was amazing and so fun.

family pic's

So of the million pictures we got taken, here is just a preview. If I may say so myself I think we are a pretty good lookin' bunch!

Shortie is having fun in school. She is loving being secretary and as she told Shauntel, "Secretary is rather enjoyable for a person of my quallity." I think she is 11 going on 25.

Tanner has a special someone so stay tuned... :) He's lovin' Mr. Olson (science), who was actually Whit's favorite teacher.

Whitty has been up at 5 every morning doing dance stuff. She was in the Burning of the B assembly, and did amazing!

Mom and Dad (for the most part) have finished family history, including Granna and Grandpa's.

I've got HOT guys in my classes, so I am doing great! :)
